JOS BOLT PHOTO ART: A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE
Inspired by Impressionism, the photographic works of Jos Bolt are a reflection of his moods and emotions, rather than a precise recording of reality. Using forms and structures nature and the environment offered him, he translated his impressions through abstract photography in which the hidden beauty of his motives become tangible. These subjective observations leave room for the observer’s own interpretation.
Jos Bolt (27.07.1950 - 07.02.2023) had been fascinated by photography from an early age; from his initial focus on black and white images to his later work in digital Fine Art Photography. Jos was a well-received and welcomed artist at galleries and art fairs in The Netherlands and abroad.
